Introducing a new series…
Some musicians leave behind more than melodies. They leave echoes of who they were - in the way they played, the silence between the notes, the choices they made on and off stage.
In this series, I’m merging painted portraits of iconic musicians with visual translations of the music that defined them: layered bands of colour drawn from their own works, or from pieces they interpreted with devotion.
But more than that, I’m exploring them: their eccentricities, their tenderness, their conflicts. From Glenn Gould’s nocturnal solitude to Clara Schumann’s quiet strength in the shadows of love and legacy….this is music, colour, and the human heart!
Want to follow the journey?
This is just the beginning. Over the following months, I’ll be sharing new portraits, music-to-colour translations, and the stories behind each piece as the series evolves.
