Ave Maria: Hand Embellished, Limited Edition Giclee Print

£120.00
Only 10 available

50 cm x 50 cm

The hand-embellished element represents the soprano portion of the music. A special, acrylic iridescent medium was applied. The tint as shown is violet. As the images show, the embellished highlights are only seen at certain angles.

This is a stunning piece, working with opposites but maintaining the harmony as it were! Elements of the visible/invisible, piano/soprano, digital/manual are at play here. And of course, this is the first circular rendition of my ‘Drawing Music’ process that I have applied to date.

Ave Maria is also the longest music score I have translated to date (16 pages long) and and on top of that, each of these editions has been carefully hand-painted over a period of several hours.

Shipping will be calculated during check out and includes World Wide delivery.
